Foreclosure Property Evaluation Tool- Free Service to Get Home Values




Ok. You've found some foreclsoures and homes in default and you want to know what they're worth.

This used to be real hard and expensive.
Zillow.com comes to the rescue. This is a free service and I've not seen any other free service come close to it.

This service makes it so easy and intuitive to get prices in a particular neighborhood.
Now, please keep in mind that this is only an estimate and will not replace the advise of a professional home appraiser.

But this will give you a good idea what the homes in the area are going for and how much of a profit potential you are looking at.

So here's what you do:

Go to http://www.zillow.com
Type in the street address and zip code of the potential foreclosure house you are looking at.
A map will pop up with all the houses in the area and what they sold for
For a more detailed plan, you can click on a little pop up where it says "see detailed sold report"

You'll be amazed at the amount of information Zillow has in their database.
Something to the tune of 60,000,000 properties.
